It regularly performs at Wigmore Hall and St John\u2019s Smith Square, and is frequently broadcast on BBC Radio 3.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><p>EOC has cemented its reputation in the last few years with its highly successful collaborations with the Royal Opera: Monteverdi\u2019s <em>L\u2019Orfeo<\/em> and <em>Il Ritorno D\u2019Ulisse<\/em> at the Roundhouse, Cavalli\u2019s <em>L\u2019Ormindo<\/em> and Luigi Rossi\u2019s <em>L\u2019Orfeo<\/em> at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, the latter nominated for an Olivier Award, and Handel\u2019s <em>Solomon<\/em> on the ROH main stage. Further afield, EOC recently made its debut at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam with Purcell\u2019s <em>Dido and Aeneas<\/em> and Blow\u2019s <em>Venus and Adonis<\/em>, which was also broadcast live on NPR Radio.<\/p><p>A frequent collaborator with Chandos Records, EOC\u2019s recordings have won several awards, including the opera category of the BBC Music Magazine Awards for Handel\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/helicondesigns.co.uk\/clients\/eoc\/recordings\/handel-alceste\/\"><em>Alceste<\/em><\/a> as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/helicondesigns.co.uk\/clients\/eoc\/recordings\/handel-acis-and-galatea\/\"><em>Acis and Galatea<\/em><\/a>, a Diapason d\u2019Or for Eccles\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/helicondesigns.co.uk\/clients\/eoc\/recordings\/eccles-the-judgement-of-paris\/\"><em>The Judgment of Paris<\/em><\/a> and the Stanley Sadie Handel Prize for Handel\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/helicondesigns.co.uk\/clients\/eoc\/recordings\/handel-semele\/\"><em>Semele<\/em><\/a>. In December 2021 EOC recorded Handel&#8217;s <em>Amadigi<\/em> for release in 2022.<\/p><p>In July 2021, EOC staged five performances of Handel\u2019s <em>Acis and Galatea<\/em> at the Buxton International Festival.
